Richwood Model 3C Belt Cleaner The Richwood 3C Belt Cleaning System is a dual blade cleaning system designed for location on a flexible section of the conveyor belt behind the discharge pulley. It may be used independently or combined with other units when a multiple blade cleaning system is required. AutoCAD blocks available upon request. Each 3C Belt Cleaner is furnished as a complete unit, including mounting frames, installation blueprint, and all components. Model 3C Specifics: • Complete dual blade cleaning system with stabilizing roller. • Installs on a flexible section of the belt with both blades behind the discharge pulley. • Air tensioned, self-adjusting system. Automatically maintains consistent cleaning pressure. • Works well on vulcanized or mechanically spliced belts. • Accepts any blade shape or media to suit any application. • Works well on reversing conveyors. • Cleaning performance is maximized by wrapping the conveyor belt over front blade, under stabilizing roller and over rear blade. Wrapping belt under roller helps release fines and moisture trapped in belt cover. • Stabilizing roller is installed ½” above the return belt to control movement of belt when blade pressure is applied. • Pillow block bearings are interference fit to roller shaft for maximum service life. • Standard Shaft Diameter = 2”.
