Richwood O.U. Belt Cleaner The Richwood Model O.U. (Over/Under) Belt Cleaner is a dual blade cleaning system for use on any belt conveyor. The O.U. is air tensioned for positive pressure cleaning of fines and moisture from the inside return belt cover. This unit must be located on a flexible part of the belt, with at least 48" of open space available parallel to belt travel in which to install. Blades are diagonal to belt centerline. Right hand or left hand discharge must be specified. Each unit is furnished complete, including mounting frames, installation blueprint and all components. Model O.U. Specifics: • Complete dual blade diagonal cleaning system. • Mounts on a flexible section of belt--usually immediately before the drive on intermediate driven conveyors. Just before the tail pulley on head driven conveyors. • Air tensioned, self-adjusting system. Automatically maintains cleaning pressure. • Works well on vulcanized or mechanically spliced belts. • Right or left hand discharge available to suit application needs.
